Its the thirties and as the dustbowl forces Oklahoma residents from their home, the Joad family heads westward to California. Encountering trials and tribulations along the way they arrive in California only to succumb to slave labor in the fields. But the Joads stand strong and attempt to rally the troops along the way.

The cast includes: Henry Fonda, John Carradine, Russel Simpson, Jane Darwell, Dorris Bowdon, Charley Grapewin, and John Qualen.
