Love Story (1970) - PG
When hockey extraordinairre/Harvard Law student Oliver Barret decides to wed a Radcliffe music protege Jennifer Cavalleri, Barrett's father threatens to cut Oliver from the family will. With Oliver and Jennifer virtually starting their new life sans parental support from the Barrets, Jennifer and her father attempt to mend ways between the father and son duel. But when the two lovers decide to start a family of their own, complications with Jennifer's health suddenly put things in a new perspective. The cast includes: Ali MacGraw, Ryan O'Neal, Tommy Lee Jones, Ray Milland, John Marley, Katharine Balfour, and Russel Nype. LOVE STORY was nominated for the Best Picture award.
