THE MIRACLE WORKER (1962)

A biographical narrative of Helen Keller; the famous girl who, born blind, deaf, and mute, is rescued from a prospected dark future when the Perkins Institute sends them a half-blind tutor, Annie Sullivan. Through the many trials Annie and Helen overcome the endless obstacles before them to break Helen’s silence and help her emerge a communicative woman.

The cast includes: Patty Duke, Anne Bancroft, Inga Swenson, Andrew Prine, and Kathleen Comegys.
