Doomed planet Krypton's scientist Jor-El sends his son Kal-El to distant planet Earth in a desperate attempt to save the Kryptonian race. As the child matures into manhood under the guidance of the Kent family, he gradually discovers that he possesses a slew of superpowers which he must conceal from the public. Now a docile reporter for the Daily Planet, will Clark Kent, aka Superman, come to the rescue when he learns of great criminal mind Lex Luthor's plan to launch a massive real estate scandal and actually has the chance to use his powers for the good of man kind?
