SYNOPSIS... In space, the Enterprise encounters human survivors on a planet. It turns out to be an illusion, and the captain of the ship is captured. In his cell, the captain experiences realistic hallucinations, accompanied by a beautiful blonde girl. The aliens vicariously experience what the captain experiences directly. The captain manages to escape. He discovers that the blonde girl was horribly disfigured when her ship crashed, and the aliens gave her the illusion of beauty.
