SYNOPSIS...
Aboard the shuttlecraft Galileo, Kirk and company are transporting
Assistant Federation Commissioner Nancy Hedford, who is ill back
to the Enterprise. An odd alien cloud diverts the shuttle to
a small planetoid, Gamma Canaris N.
Once landed on the small planet, they meet Zefram Cochrane, the
inventor of the warp drive. Kirk and company are amazed since
Cochrane has been missing for centuries, and should be dead.
Soon they discover a cloud creature, who is in love with Cochrane.
The Commissioner is close to dying.
The cloud creature merges with the Federation Commissioner. The
inventor and the Federation lady choose to live out their days
together on the planet.
